Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born June 15 in 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015 it received a raving review from both music bloggers and the media. The singer has released a number of high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. The parents of her May-Britt family and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a hobby, but to grow. To do this, she began writing original compositions. After her mom told her that her songs can aid in her gaining recognition, but also let everyone else see their value on the planet and realise how they can benefit from them, she decided to begin performing publicly. When she was six She began playing the piano, and when she was nine, started writing songs. It wasn't known to her family about her musical talents until she turned fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. She says she just likes music and writing. Music is for her the best way for expressing anything.
