Aurora Aksnes was born June 15 in 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015 it received a raving review from both music bloggers and the media. The singer has released a number of high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert.
